Complex mapping

How do I map |z|=1 to an ellipse? Given that w=z+ c/z ?
I keep on getting a circle instead, can someone please help?
I got u^2+v^2=(1+c)^2 so far idk if I got it wrong or not

Are you sure it’s an ellipse? If the modulus of z is 1 then the distance from the origin must be 1 at any given point along the locus and i would’ve thought this would give a circle
umm yeah the question says its an ellipse, i assume they don't imply circle is a special case of ellipse?

Technically a circle is an ellipse so may just be saying that to throw you off
