HELP! Best revision book for AQA bio/Chem a level ?

Hi could someone please advise me on what’s the best book to buy for aqa a level bio/ Chem. School have reccomended either oxford or cgp but idk what’s better. I’ve heard that the Oxford books are good but they have minor errors in them. Starting a levels in September.
For Biology, I thought the CGP ones were quite amazing for first and second year. But in my personal opinion, they didn't do into enough depth in the meiosis topics when they can make up quite a chunk of the exam. So overall I felt the CGP was better but I did some more research on A level content for meiosis and that was enough.

Oxford books are good too but I think they are cluttered with some unnecessary information which will waste your time rather than aid your revision (I had both the books). CGP doesn't really have that but if you are one that likes context and extra info, then it may illustrate a module better for you!
