Any 3rd year students picking their dissertation topic?

As i'm entering my final year and have to submit proposals for my dissertation in mid-November, I was wondering how and what everyone else in the same position is considering picking?

I am very much a social historian and I am studying refugees as my special subject in year three, so I am hoping to study a particular refugee movement to the UK and responses to them, and identifying new approaches or ways of viewing integration. Alternatively i'd like to interview refugees of their experience as my uni is in a port city so there may be a pocket of remaining refugees still there.

Evidently it still needs work, but my uni has just suggested identifying academics, types of history and periods so far so.
