English resit in year 13

so i have done a resit in year 12 and got a 4 but need a 5 to get into my prefered uni. the result for
november resit comes on the 16th jan one day after the deadline.
my question should i wait send it on 16th and ask my teacher to put it under special cicumstance in the refrence or should i put my english result as pending and update them over the email??

Yes, you just put it as pending.
