Hi, I am doing CIDA, it's a sort of BTEC qualification where the coursework is worth 75% of the grade. I would love it if i get any advice from people who have previously done this course as it really isn't known much.

Get used to the specification, practice exams and buy any textbooks.

There are loads of exam papers, mark schemes and examiners reports.

I think it's way better I do a BTEC lesson as well and i like the fact that it's mainly coursework based. Don't worry just do your coursework in a good standard and make sure you show your teacher to improve on it each time to get a better grade. It's less stress trust me you won't regret it!!

Hi, I have just finished my final exam for this. Doing this course was so fun! I really enjoyed doing my coursework as it was so creative, I would say put lots of work into your design logs as they’re worth so much. The final exam is actually not that bad, you need to make a website to a certain brief in 2:30 (If we are doing the same which I guess we are) and you have a back up attempt at the exam if you take it in January.

Hope I helped
