I just got my a levels and to be honest one of them isn't that great. So instead of doing that subject again, i want to do a History fast track A Level. my old sixth form have agreed to mark my coursework. The topics which i have decided to do is Pitt to Peels, The cold war in Europe and Russia and its rulers.
Which textbooks do i get/ do you reccomened?

Thought you were doing AQA?
I start with Amazon and read the reviews, then you have to decide whether you need any more books on top. Cold War and Russia should have plenty of books.
Also search for 2nd hand.

sorry for the late reply, it turns out my old school does OCR, not AQA

The link was for OCR anyway.
What you will need to do is supplement main textbooks with short history books.
You also need to treat the coursework like another qualification and be planning that. You dont have time to mess about.
