Veganism and gelatin

Hi, I am a vegan and I was out shopping today. I came across some marshmallows where one of the ingredients was just ‘gelatin’, yet when I looked at different varieties of marshmallow they said ‘pork gelatin’ or ‘beef gelatin’. So I was just wondering, is there any such thing as a plant -based gelatin that I can eat?

Thanks guys 😊
I am by no means in expert on this subject so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I'm fairly sure you can get marshmallows/jelly based sweets without gelatin in them.

Some marshmallows contain agar instead of gelatin.

Skittles don't contain gelatin.
