what is sociology a level like and should I choose it over psychology?

Sociology is the study of groups of people as opposed to the study of the individual and the mind, If you're more interested in society as well as theories such as feminism etc it's easy enough

I used to teach it.

It is less statistical and 'scientific' than Psychology.

It does involve dealing with theories and learning quite a lot of evidence (same as Psychology).

Not great if you get concerned with not having a 'correct' answer!

Have a look at some Sociology exam papers to get an idea.
