Just some advice - over the year how much would you say a typical student would spend their student loan on food? And also going out?

Also, how much is accomodation costing everyone per year?

Other than food, rent and going out, what other things could a student potentially spend their student loan on?

Thank you

Rent is going to vary hugely city to city.

I'd say about £30-40 on food and then £20-30 on going out is fairly average but some people will spend a lot less and some a lot more.

Other common expenses include:

Cleaning products
Toiletries
Bills e.g. your phone bill.
One off expenses e.g. replacing a laptop that has broken.
Clothes
Transport costs.
Gym membership
Society memberships
Insurance (e.g. contents insurance).
