How old were you when you started your Training Contract? Or how old will you be? Watch
If all goes well for me, i'd hopefully begin my TC when I'm 28/29!
At my city firm, and also at the MC firm I trained at, I guess that the average age of trainees is about 25. Most trainees spent a year or two in another job, postgraduate study or working as a paralegal before starting their TC.
I was 22 when I started my TC straight out of uni then LPC but I was one of the youngest in my cohort.
At 28/29 you will be slightly older than average, but there will be plenty of other trainees who are the same age and a few who are older.
I was really worried for a while that I'd be much older than all the other trainees, but have since realised a) I don't care and b) like the link jacket posted above, average age of qualifying is late 20s anyway!
