Can you do apprenticeships after A-levels instead of going to University?

I'm not sure if I should just go straight to college to do an apprenticeship but I really have a passion for Maths and Science and want to pursue that at A-levels. But at the same time I don't particularly want to go to university as I don't have a career in mind that is worth the £30k+ for (e.g. Medicine). I'm wondering if you can get higher-level or better apprenticeships if you do A-levels first.
yes, you can do apprenticeships up to degree level and beyond. It's all explained here https://www.gov.uk/topic/further-education-skills/apprenticeships
If you do choose a degree level apprenticeship you will be paid by your employer, and the tuition fees will be covered by your employer and the govt, so you leave with a degree and no debt!
