How much harder is level 4 business BTEC HNC than the Level 3 diploma in business?

Sorry for the million questions on business BTECs!

Somebody said level 3 = A levels and level 4 = degree level.

But if I'm just wondering if there's much of a gap between the two?

I did want to do level 3 however the college that offers this course has only just stopped enrolling, however the manchester college are enrolling all September but they only offer level 4 and not level 3, so I'm thinking of just jumping into level 4.

Level 4 is equivalent of 1st year uni
