can i apply to do social sciences with an anthropology personal statement?

I'm applying to do anthropology at Bristol, Manchester, Goldsmiths and SOAS but i'm really interested in the social sciences course at King's college (which was my favourite uni that i visited) and was wondering if I still had a chance at being offered a place if my personal statement is heavily based on anthropology, even though the two subjects are fairly similar.
