Hi everyone.

Currently I am writing my first draft of my personal statement for psychology and although I do have things relating to psychology, I feel like a lot of the events I have visited etc relate to medicine and drugs more. I was just wondering how I could relate these into the psychology field??? For example I have studied courses such as Molecules, medicines and drugs and also The Study of Medicine so I was wondering how I could make them relevant to my personal statement! Also I have taken part in a volunteer asda bag pack could I include this and how?? Thanks!

Possibly say that you have a basic understanding of drugs and their effects on the body and the brain which may have led to further understanding in topics such as bio psychology or drug therapy to specific mental disorders.

I’m assuming you would like to eventually help people by studying psychology, well that’s what your doing as a volunteer!

What specifically are your medicine related things? If it's neuro-based, then you could potentially talk about that in relation to psychology. Admissions tutors don't really care about volunteering/jobs for academic subjects
