I'm trying to learn how to do a self-exam.

I'm not sure what guide to follow.

I feel some aches and might book next week with a clinic.

Thanks that's helpful.

I discussed this on another thread and had good advice as well. I can feel they are generally smooth, but I still can't completely diagnose if they are twisted (feeling some aches last week near the top).

I'm wondering how common it is to have this aching feeling as well?

Ok I'm going to book to visit the STD clinic next week. It's a bit scary as I haven't been examined in that area before.

Try not to hesitate in getting your testes checked by the GP if you have a possible issue. I had a small lump on the surface of one of mine, and I went to the GP and he felt my testicles and determined that the lump in question was not cancerous, I knew the situation wasnt ideal but its just something that you've got to deal with.

Thanks, that's scary!

What symptoms did you have? Did you find it on a self-exam?

I still have to try to book at the clinic...

Sorry, I said that I 'had' a small lump, but it's still there but isn't cancerous or anything. One testicle feels perfectly normal, but the other one had a visible lump protruding off the surface of the other one, but it is ok!

Oh ok, that's good that is was harmless. Did you feel any pain or anything?

So far I didn't feel any lumps, but some aching like the testicles are twisting.

Ok I still haven't been able to make an appointment. The NHS is really inconvenient.
