Is an apprentice a student ?

Im an apprentice and looking at car insurance and its cheaper if im a student than if i put down employed, so can i put it down as a student living at home without having to worry about a claim being rejected

Technically you are a part-time student. I know that as a degree apprentice, I'm eligible for student bank accounts and the apprentice NUS card, but I'm not so sure about car insurance. Might be worth calling up the insurance company and checking.
