So, I believe I've handled all of the application process appropriately given my situation, but now as I'm waiting for my payments to come through (I'm already in halls and moved in). My university payments are listed as awaiting confirmation and my maintenance payments are listed as blocked.

What does blocked mean?

I did try to reach SFE through the phoneline but it was worthless. Being charged per minute when the chat bot wastes 5 minutes repeating itself and then 15 minutes for nobody to pick up.

I assume awaiting for confirmation just means that the university needs to send my details off and be processed but blocked is concerning me.

Thank you.

EDIT:

So I've just gotten off the phone with the SFE call centre and the woman said there was no problems at all with my account and there was no reason for it to be blocked, it just was for some reason. My payments should be unblocked within 24 hours.

Something has gone wrong with your application I assume. it really is best to phone them first thing tomorrow morning.

That's a good idea, today when I checked it I couldn't get through but early morning is a good idea.

Thank you.

Hopefully nothing has gone wrong because this is obnoxiously stressful given that I've just moved in and I'm already settled here and I literally can't do this without the loan.

Pray for me

It's a Sunday so that would be why you couldn't get through.
