At sixth form for my enrichment I have chosen to do volunteering as this will help to build up my cv and personal statement, however I’m really stuck on what I should do. What would people recommend?

Go to your local volunteer centre or look at do-it.org to see what it available in your area. There is a wide range of volunteering, so it does depend on what you are looking for. Generally, pick something that you are interested in or for something that will give you skills that you need.

Some ideas include:
- retail volunteering at charity shops
- admin/receptionist work
- after school clubs
- conservation projects
- fundraising
- marketing
- museum and tour guides
