Are you right wing or left wing?

I'm right wing to a certain extent, what are you?
*Disclaimer* just because you are 'right wing' or 'left wing' It doesn't determine what your opinions are. (However it does imply certain views.)

One wouldn’t want to pigeon hole one self by going with either to be honest. It’s overly limiting.

The dichotomy just encourages partisan politics and is used as a tool to decredit opposing viewpoints without actually saying anything constructive
Right or left doesn't matter. The scourge affecting politics is "lobbying", which is basically a legal means of buying influence on the polls. That is what decides who the people can vote for. No wonder people aren't interested in voting anymore

Are you one of Us or one of Them?
I think those terms are getting a bit out-dated.
I’m left footed so I prefer to play on the left wing.
I believe in personal responsibility, self-improvement, minimal government and wealth creation through hard work. That is everything the left despite so I am right wing by definition.

Then again you look at the left wing and holy sh*t, also trump hasn't really done anything that bad at all (at least not yet, tweeting needs to stop though xD)

One of you.
Nice strawman

in any case no you’re wrong about everything. The modern new right (eg Michael Gove, George Bush) is not the old right, which came first. In the US the birth place of the new right we had groups lead by James Buckley supplant the traditional right wing groups such as as the John Birch society, which became ‘paleoconservatives’ which is the movement essentially behind Trump. These people including Pat Buchanan, Russel Kirk etc and are part of a rich tradition supplanted by essentially neocons.

The new right that replaced them got rid of their popular ideas about limited immigration, restraints on business, non intervention and respect for the traditional order and replaced it with unhinged capitalism, unchecked migration, endless foreign wars and giving way to the left on every social issue.

Tim Stanley did a radio piece on it here, which was prettty good actually:

Right wing. I believe in people. I don't believe in centralised mothering
What views of mine are absurd? Though I’m not a monarchist, I wouldn’t say they’re absurd ideas, in fact for the time they were in they highly popular and well thought of.

I would say they disliked communism more than they favoured capitalism. With most corporates being run by people like zuckerberg and soros et al who support highly radical social change and will lobby aggressively for it, the ‘free market’ has been a convenient way for ‘the state’ to outsource tyranny (minus the accountability of government) to the market. Why does the government need to censor or oppress people if it can get third parties to fire them and take away their platforms.

The neocons today are absolutely pro immigration, some older ones might not be- but they’re the ones who have lead to where we are today and gave more power to capitalists who are absolutely pro open borders.

It used to be that the left were smelly hippies at Woodstock. Now they’re running google and Starbucks and the media- which is why the media overwhelmingly backed Hilary despite trump winning. The free market can’t explain why the popular trump was so loathed by the media who all backed trump. Now tell me with a straight face it’s because the media are principled 😂
Dead terms that no longer apply in reality

Oh how good the right are at propaganda and repeating it so mindlessly.

Luckily the left are here to see through your bullsh*t.

Question: do you use the NHS?

Answer is most likely yes.

Your point has been refuted.

Good day.

I’m economically left wing, but you’re wrong too.

ie do you use products made from sweatshops like everyone else?

Thst skdo refutes your point.

to do some degree capitalism and socialism are unavoidable
It doesn't matter. The world is going to be run by global corporations soon. Nothing we can do about it.
I’m definitely right wing (bich u thot)

I do think they are somewhat meaningless terms now, but if pushed i'm on the side of people rather than things.

That's entirely different to getting free healthcare from everybody's taxes when you don't believe in it. Capitalism is what we run off, socialism is not. Basically capitalism > socialism massively. You ever heard of private health care? Using socialism directly contradicts her view that people should make their own way in life LOL. Nothing you've said directly contradicts anything I've said. You could basically only call me a 'champagne socialist' by your logic, and even that is weak. And how the f*ck do people get paid if nobody buys their sh*t exactly? That's directly hurting their income, since we live in a capitalist state.

However if she uses the NHS she's crippling the system even more than it already is and burdening the taxpayer. LOGIC.

Apples and oranges mate. As you're left wing, I'm quite disappointed in how much you missed the mark.
