Do you need to do a masters degree if you were on a MEng course?
Sorry if this sounds a bit dumb but for engineering many unis offer either BEng or MEng for engineering for instance MEng for mechanical engineering but also BEng for mechanical engineering. if you completed the MEng course do you still need to do masters in Mechanical engineering?

No, the MEng fully meets the academic requirement for engineering. It's effectively equivalent to a BEng + MSc.

Yes it's an undergraduate masters so all years are covered as normal.
