Invisalign

Anyone used Invisalign to straighten their teeth? I want to get my teeth straightened but not sure if it is expensive etc? What are peoples experiences of using this. Also, any other teeth straightening techniques people used that have worked?

I have just had a look at the website and it does look very impressive. I expect however that it will cost a fair bit and probably won't be available on the NHS. I had my teeth straightend back in 1996/7 and just had the tranditional metal braces and while it didn't look great it was over in 6 months and after a short time with a retainer my teeth are still pretty straight. It might be worth talking to your dentist about the options available to you both on the NHS and privately.

i'm sure it's about £3,000 isn't it?

I had braces for a year and a bit until a couple of days ago- had them off the day before my 20th birthday!

They were normal ones on the NHS though. At first it was a bit horrible but i soon got used to them and it didn't seem to bother people! I'd definately recommend braces- the results are worth it!

Hm. I reckon they're pretty expensive, my dentist is private, he says they aren't offered under NHS services, so I guess if you want them you'll have to go private. Look up reputable dental clinics online and go from there!

I had my Invisalign done with Dr Graham Tinkler at the Holborn Dental Centre. It worked fantastic and the price was excellent. I think its currently at £2500 all inclusive. They offer a FREE consulation and they give you a fixed price unlike other places that dont include retainers, and they charge extra if you need a refinement. Dr Tinkler does not charge any extra for the refinement and also includes whitening. Do yourself and favour and go down there for a consultation, you wont be dissapointed!
