Did you get a welcome pack in your room?

Did yall have a package in your room when you arrived? What was in it?
Did you? If so, please elaborate on what was in there.

I'm in Y13 and haven't reached university yet.

Sort of - I was a fresher at York two years ago. The only notable thing I remember was a chocolate bar. Other than that, I think there was a few leaflets on fire safety, IT services etc. All of which I'd recommend keeping.

A few booklets and a chocolate bar, and I think that was it. Nothing too interesting, just formal information about where things are and procedures. The departmental welcome pack was a little more interesting and relevant.

Not yet. I'm moving in later but one of my friends at another uni got food (a pack of noodles, 2 candy bars), an energy drink, booklets and a pack of those laundry washing things.
