So of course dms are messaging, like a filter u can say whatever you want without the consequences, i've being trying to go for youngers in my school and like they all think im fit, hench and funny over text but then when i acc meet em im not like how i am in text, funny im somewhat confident but like today i met a girl i liked and it wasnt awkward i hugged her before she had to go to the dentist or something but as soon as i left she j puts, new people talk on her story and i was like what have i done wrong and she j took a longtime to text back and they were a lot more plain.

what can i do to try and fix this?

It happens, I think that's normal. I think you should speak to the girls on the phone to see if you have any real connection before you meet in person.

What the **** do you mean you are 'trying to go for youngers in your schools'? ****ing date someone your age. Although if you can't even impress a younger girl in real life, then there's probably no hope for you. You sound oddly needy and possessive, too, and come off as a creep.

youngers as in one year below? is that a problem? if it is you have an issue, why is it easier to impress a younger girl? and what makes me sound needy and possessive?

It can be a problem, depending on your age. And it's easier to impress a younger girl because younger people are more naive/less experienced/think it's cool to date an older person.

It's the way you talk. Obsessed with getting a girlfriend. And you sound so entitled. And this 'new people talk on her story'... So what? What's wrong with that?

Girls are complicated wouldn't fret, some play hard to get. What do you mean you are funny in person?

Best advice is to share an activity that way the awkwardness is removed. Usually when people fall in love it happens around shared activity. Find out what the girl likes (ice skating? whatever it is) and then do that with her. It is better because over time girls start associating the happiness and joy they get in the activity with you. I.e. they fall in love with you because they love the activity. - Theres a weird psychology to love.

Plus, meetups with no shared activity and just socialising can be really awkward for the other person.. because what do you do. Give it time

it's because she seemd really damn interested in me and she even said she was, of course this judgement was from over text and j what i looked like so i walked her to the dentist and a few minutes later she puts 'new people talk xx' doesn't that j sound a bit weird? and this morning she texts me we are j mates right... i knew for a fact she was interested before we met but idk how to keep it that way. im not necessarily obsessed with getting a girlfriend it's just advice i want how to transfer my self from text to person

There's no way around that. Most people seem 'cooler' when you talk to them via texts, since texting usually gives you more time to respond, and you are more confident. Even if you and the other person seem to be a perfect match, when texting, that doesn't necessarily mean you will 'click' in real life.

Your place or mine?

By the way, you need to tell him how to 'transfer himself from text to person', it's beyond my abilities.

Is it too much effort to type the word "just"? It's only 3 extra letters.
