    Hiya,

    I am seriously interested in becoming an accountant.

    Was wondering if anyone knew exaclty what you gotta do to become one??

    There are a few different routes.

    Depending on what type of accounting you want to do, you have to get certain qualifications (usually by getting a business to sponsor you) such as ACCA (financial accounting based) or CIMA (management accounting based).

    If you check on the websites for said companies, you should be able to check their requirements. You don't need a related degree (or in fact any degree), but it will make things easier for you. What stage in your education are you at now, or are you working?
