Hey guys, i'm doing Edexcel physics as the thread title suggests. However, i'm having major trouble with revising for my unit 3 topics paper. My option is nuclear and particle physics which i think is extremely difficult!!!

Well, what i'm trying to get at is that does anyone (preferrably someone who has been through the edexcel system for AS Physics but i'm really desperate so anyone will do) got any idea of the most suitable and effective way to get all those blimmin facts on baryon number, lepton number, quark compositions and all that jazz stuck in your head?

Its just impossible!! I've tried reading over my notes again and again throughout the holidays but with no results!

My exam is in a month!

    Pls HELP!!!

i've done the whole poster thing - still doesn't work. I'm not a poster sorta person anyway!

Some data is given on the data sheet, but i'm having problems actually answering the questions according to the marking scheme!

Man, the same way as a contestant on the X-factor in the live-finals. The sooner you start crapping yourself, the better.

Just do loads of old exam papers. You should find that, with practice, the rules become engrained in your memory as you constantly refer back to your notes in order to answer questions.

Furthermore, doing past papers also hones your ability of recalling information. You may know all the rules deep down but you just might not be able to use them.
