Unit Codes for registration purpose

I want to take an A Level certificate in mathematics from Edexcel in Egypt.
Can I take [M1(6677 01) in Jan 2019 and Pure Mathematics 1 (8MA0 01) in May/June] and then take [M2(6678) in Jan 2020 and Pure mathematics (9MAO 02) in May/Jun 2020]
or Should I take Pure Mathematics 1 (9MA0 01) in May/June 2019 instead of (8MAO 01) in order to be able to take A2 next year?
And what is the units code for (8MAO 01) and (9MAO 01)?
I'm tired with these codes, so it'd be nice if someone makes it clear to me.

From memory...
8MA01 is the pure paper for AS maths.
9MA01 is the first pure paper for A level maths.
You can't combine old spec (M1/2) with new spec (these pure papers) and M1/2 can only been taken by resit students
You'll also need to sit the applied paper (eg. If you wanted a full A level maths you'd need to sit 9MA01, 9MA02 and 9MA03 or AS it's just 8MA01 and 8MA02) You don't need to take AS to complete A2 on the normal Edexcel, but you would for international A levels.
However, you'll be wanting IAL (International A levels), which could possibly mean I'm talking nonsense (if the codes just happen to be extremely similar)

Thanks a lot!
But If I can't combine M1 with new spec, then how to divide 9MAO and 8MAO over Jan and June like it is for [c12 and M1] and [C34 and M2]? and What is the final assessment for C12/M1/M2/C34?(I'm not talking about IAL)

If you're talking about C12 and C34 it is IAL. I'm gonna have to look it up for you later, poke me if I haven't done it by tomorrow
