For Q11, we get that 8000=πr2h8000 = \pi r^2 h. Too late in the evening for me to think about this one, but after a quick glance I can say that you wish to minimise the radius as well as the height by the looks of it.

For Q10, use the fact that (1+x)n=1+nx+n(n1)x22+n(n1)(n2)x36+(1+x)^n = 1+nx+\dfrac{n(n-1)x^2}{2} + \dfrac{n(n-1)(n-2)x^3}{6} + \ldots to pick out your coefficients and make an equality based on the info in the question.
