I'm not sure you can find any classes for that cheap. Most GCSE tuition costs £10-20/hour and for 5 or 6 months, the costs will be much higher. I recommend using online sources such as physicsandmathstutor, heagrty maths, madasmaths etc for resources for the major subjects. Also use youtube since that is the best place to get help and understanding.

You could also use the 'Get Revising' site (https://getrevising.co.uk/) to help you with your studies

seneca learning isn't really like an online class thing but it's a very useful revision/learning resource and completely free. i'd recommend buying revision guides to to help with your studies- cgp's always a safe bet.
i don't know a great deal about online classes unfortunately; 999tigger do you know much about online classes?

Hi!

For edexcel maths i would totally reccomend Maths Outlet. It has loads of free resources that can help a lot with revision
https://mathsoutlet.weebly.com/

For the other subjects I would advise that you use seneca learning
https://senecalearning.com/

Good luck!

Out of interest are you now at school or college or home learning? Have they places you in year 11?
Why do you want to do online courses for six months, is this till when you intend to sit GCSE?

Would you rate yourself as an excellent/ bright or average or below average student? Trying to gauge how self sufficient you might be.

I thought you meant £300 each subject in which case if you were so minded then you could afford some online courses. As ive re-read it I believe you mean £60 a subject?

If that was my budget then id be more interested in getting books.

1. English Lan and Lit then I always recommend a combination of Mr Bruff and Mr Salles.. They both have youtube channels as well as ebooks for both the subject in general and set texts. They both specialise in AQA as thats the biggest board, but the specs for all boards are similar.

Here are the links.

Books
Brufff lang
http://mrbruff.com/product/mr-bruffs...gcse-language/

Mr Salles
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Salles-Guid...sap_bc?ie=UTF8

Youtube

Bruff Lit

Bruff Lang paper 1

Bruff Lang Paper 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtgp...p7PXId4pbldQVq

Bruff Lit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWj5...GjJvf7zLDCq3uN

In addition I am quite a fan of Litcharts. Join for 1 month download your texts and then cancel is the cheapest way.

https://www.litcharts.com/

2. For Maths then I suggest.

i). Ask on the maths sub forum .
ii). For starters I like

https://www.mathsgenie.co.uk/gcse.html

or

https://mathsmadeeasy.co.uk/gcse-maths-revision/

For books then CGP are a start especially workbooks.
https://www.cgpbooks.co.uk/Student/b...el_maths_range

3. Science, then Pearson are the owners of Edexcel.

Look on CGP again.

https://www.cgpbooks.co.uk/Student/b...ience_combined

Just some other points .

Get revising is good and there is a lot of information on there although I find it a bit hit and miss. Its a good resource though.

Seneca learning was introduced last year and pupils really like it. I would use it as a tool and a different way of learning but avoid using but as your only source of study.

There are other paid sites, but if you get the books above and use the internet I think that should be sufficient to get good grades.

Finally you need to get used to looking for exam resources on exam board websites in particular, specifications tell you what the course covers, what they look for and how the exams are set out. Past papers one of your most important tools. mark schemes to show you where the marks were and examiners reports.

Links to the above including spec and past papers.

1. English
https://www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/engl...-language-8700

2. Eng Lit
https://www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/engl...iterature-8702

3.Maths
https://qualifications.pearson.com/e...tics-2015.html
https://qualifications.pearson.com/e...16-resits.html

4. Science
https://qualifications.pearson.com/e...nces-2016.html

You need to confirm with the school the correct specification. You also might wish to bookmark this page as it takes rime to compile these things.
GL and the above should be sufficient without you need in an online course.

Ok firstly I am studying at home . I arrived in UK recently but couldn't get an admission in any college because I don't have english qualifications like IELTS or some other course and have completed only matriculation (10th) previously in my home country pakistan
So they said I must complete at least 5 gcses to get admission in further studies . I am also little late so couldn't get admission any where so have to do it privately .
Thanks for your resources it really helped a lot .

CGP is safe. i cant say which one is better than another look at the reviews. Buy the second hand copy.
Buying guides is hit and miss and you need to look at reviews plus get the best one that appals to you.

Its only £4. If its no good buy the other one.

I would start with a textbook first and then probably a workbook after that.
