The Student Room Group

Can someone answer please

Question- One strategy often used by students to try and improve their memory ability is to repeat information that they wish to learn over and over again. In order to investigate this, an experiment gave a group of 2 participants a list of unconnected words with the instruction that they were to repeat the list over and over verbally. A second group of participants were even the same list of words, but were only allowed to read them once. Ten minutes later, each group was asked to recall the list. The number of words recalled by the two groups was compared.

What is the operationalised IV and the operationalised DV?
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.
The independent variable is the thing that is being changed and the dependent variable is what is being measured. Operationalised means that you clearly define the variables in terms of how they will be measured. Hope this helps you work out the answers
