Masturbation in Islam

I masturbate 2-3 times a day, and have tried to quit many times but have gotten sick and find it incredibly hard. Is it permissible to do this if it stops me from committing more sins.

Cut it down bit by bit… start with once a day for a bit, then once every 2 days and so on.

Masturbation is fine, normal and healthy. However just like anything moderation is key. You do seem to be doing it too often and that won't be good for you. Try keeping yourself distracted with hobbies or work. If that doesn't work then consider seeing your GP as it is possible to get addicted.

Nothing wrong with this activity - but 2 or 3 times a day is a bit much and could cause you problems later when you find the love of your life.

raping slaves and captives is not really going to play well in today's Britain.

"And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, - for them, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors." (Qur'an 23:5-7).
First time you do it, pray 2 rakah. Do it another time, pray 4 rakah. And another, pray 6 rakah. And so on. But you must have a strong will and keep praying. Playing the shaytaan at his own game so it’d be very difficult.
