Did anyone else get some email inviting them to the applicants' visit day on the 10th or 14th of November?
Course(s) you're applying for: Electronic Engineering with Industrial Studies MEng
At other unis it's a variety of EE courses, all with a year in industry and some geared towards space tech.
Other universities you're applying to: Manchester, Surrey, Bath, Loughborough
GCSE grades: 11A*
Predicted A-level grades: A* in Physics and EPQ; A in Maths and Chemistry
Should've been an A* in Maths but my school deemed 80% to only be worthy of an A :rolleyes:
Extra-curricular activities: DofE, did MUN twice, literally nothing else.

A level / IB / Higher grades: 4As at AS (I'm a Northern Irish student), predicted A*A*A* at A-level (Maths, Physics, French)
GCSE grades: 7A*s, 2As
Extracurriculars: I like to read, play badminton, and listen to music but I have a part time job as a waiter so that takes up quite a lot of my time!


I'm applying to Southampton for several reasons: firstly, although I'm Northern Irish I have a lot of family in the south of England, including my sister who just graduated from Southampton with a BA in music! As a plus, I've heard they also have a very good philosophy department.
