i am in my first half term of doing design technology and I am already finding it quite hard, what is it like at gcse? also I am doing my igcse so I think that differes slightly to the normal gcse, but is it worth me sticking to design technology for igcses and will a lot of hard work have to go into it?

I don't personally do IGCSE Design and Technology but the outcome really depends on how much effort you put in. For instance, I have 2 friends that are taking IGCSE DT and 1 of them who doesn't really care and fools around ends up with a grade 2-3, whereas my friend who actually studies can easily score Grade 7's. Don't feel discouraged, Year 10 can be a bit discouraging but as long as you do a moderate amount of work and have a little fun, you'll be fine.
