This is kind of like Harry Potter. I applied when I was 14, now I am 15. Harry was 14 when he entered the tri wizard tournament. And Moody goes like " you are allowed a wand ". In this case " you are allowed a calculator". Guess the PAT is the first task, the interview is the second ( haha, the lecturers are merpeople ). And the exams are the maze task. And Yes Amy, further maths, will not disadvantage you. I am doing maths, further maths, physics, chem and economics. Its good to have further maths, because I heard that they redice your entry requirements if you have a lot of subjects. And when it comes to the PAT I guess our strength is the calculator we are allowed to use this year. Just look at the syllabus and use it as a checklist. There is a checklist on the physics and maths tutor page, where they advertide their online courses for the PAT. And ....... you are not expected to do as well as physics or engineering students. And besides, materials sciences has a higher accpetance rate. Just get ready to go to Oxford. Best of luck. I hope to see you soon. I hope we all go into the same college and enjoy 4 years of our lives.
