with english and ucl? nah sorry no prospects there. maybe a teacher?
at my interview day we were told that UCL came in just under oxbridge for graduate prospects. I dont know how true this is, but prospects are certainly high even if you take something silly like anthropology so im sure youll be fine.

UCL graduates also have the highest earning potential apparently

jesus christ this girl wrecks me. UCL rocks! its ridiculous to think otherwise. your going to an incredible place with fantastic people and UCL has an outstanding name. TSR is not the place to find out how awesome your uni is, get on google and put in UCL and look at the news for the past year or something just to get an idea of how big a role UCL plays in the world. anyway you must have extra cred for going to the same uni as Ghandi!!!!some would probably be more impressed with ricky gervais though lol. what do you want to do?unfortunately arts subjects are a tad limiting.

I'm more concerned at the state of the UK's and global economy than UCL's reputation when I graduate and look for a job.

i can't start worrying about that aswell.
Heh... UCL was the first university in England to offer English as a degree subject. I know English students here who rejected their Oxbridge offers... it's a highly competitive course...

english is a really crap subject though. english students spend most of their time making stuff up about a bunch of people's poems roflz.

I'm intrigued by some of the answers.
And I also demand becca2389 to come and defend the subject
If you're at UCL, you get similiar prospects to Ricky Gervais and Coldplay (all ex UCL-ites)
