Terrified about going to university?

I’m so scared that university won’t be as good as I’m hoping, it’s supposed to be the ‘best years of your life’ but I’m so scared that I won’t have that experience and I won’t make any friends, is this something I should be concerned about or will it be easy for me to make friends, etc?

Every student-to-be has concerns but the majority of them genuinely enjoy the experience. My advice is try lots of new things and get involved - sign up for societies, don't be afraid to speak to new people (you won't make friends with everyone, uni is such a wide variety of people, but there are bound to be people you share common interests with) and have an open mind.
