Hello, I'm struggling in English Literature essay writing. I keep getting Cs and I really want to get to an A. Do any of you have any methods you use to write an English Literature A level essay?
I'm doing AQA English lit A. If you could share them it would be great!

Thanks!

Hi! I did AQA English Literature in 2014-2016. I don't know about you, but I studied Wuthering Heights, Othello, The Rotters Club etc.

1) Read the books back to front. Multiple times.

2) Make mind maps, flash cards, and make links between important quotes.

3) Societal context is important. Why were the authors inspired to write the book, add quotes.

4) I talked about Sigmund Freud a lot, due to The Rotters Club

Hope this helped. I got an A* overall.
