Lol what?

You don’t need any specific GCSE subjects to become a plastic surgeon.

You do however need Biology and Chemistry to take Medicine to become a Surgeon
Aw bless 😂 get into med school first before you start thinking about specialising. Triple science is always a good start (and maybe fine art—but it’s definitely not a requirement) but GCSEs don’t need to be PS specific. A Levels is where it starts to count—bio maths and chemistry is always a solid combination.

But pass GCSEs first and you’ll be set. Good on you for thinking into the future though and I wish you the best of luck in your surgical career

Lol gcse's are just a first step to that route , you gotta go through ukcat, a levels, work experience, personal statement, interviews D:
ANyways it depends what medical uni's you apply to, they often give a 50:50 weighting on your GCSE scores and your score on the UKCAT which is another test you have to take.
Med schools usually only look at your best eight GCSE's and 8's and 9's are seen to worth be exactly the same. If you get most 8's and 7's you would be fine, get high on the sciences, english and maths in particular and even if not you'll get plenty of opportunity to redeem yourself.

Great answer except General Studies and Critical Thinking have been abolished as A levels so you may just confuse people by mentioning them.

As far as I know there are no specific gcses requirements for this.
