Comparing Ozymandias And Exposure

Okay, so I’m in year 10 and for my homework I’ve been set a task to compare Ozymandias and Exposure, I’ve already attempted this 2 times and my teachers says it’s still not good enough. Can someone help me please, I really don’t want to be put in detention. This will be very much appreciated.
Thank youuu

One of the key similarities you could focus on is the way nature is portrayed as being more powerful than humans. Also you could compare the effect of time on the soldiers in exposure and the effect of time on Ozymandias' statue.
The differences are that time is seen as an enemy for the soldiers due to the boredom, whereas it is ironic in Ozymandias as he thought time would be on his side. But it just ended up ruining his power.
Hope this helps.

Well, Ozymandias is a poem of scale and a message of the temporary nature of pride and status in comparison to the endurance and strength of nature. I've not read Exposure but I assume it must link in a similar way?

They both talk about the power of nature. Ozymqndias power is ruined and taken over by nature, where as in Exposure nature is shown as the main enemy, therefore showing the power of nature
