Korean Studies

Hi guys, I sort of need advice. ASAP.

So I thought I wanted to study midwifery as a degree and for years I thought it’s what I wanted but I went to a open day and I figured that it’s not for me and I’ve changed as a person & it’s not what suits me best.
I’ve grown to love the Korean Culture and so I found that SOAS university offer Korean Studies as a degree and you also get to study abroad!! However, I don’t know where this degree can take me? Career wise I have no idea what I can do next, I know about becoming a translator but I don’t really want to be a translator as a career.
I know this may sound bad but I want a successful career that pays well. Can anyone let me know what pathways I can go into with this degree?

Also, I don’t know how to tell my family about me wanting to study this degree as they’re brown and not really understanding of MANY things. Please can I get advice on how to explain to them :frown:
