Ah I'm not sure whether to post here yet since I've not actually sent my application off yet but I'm pretty set on applying so:

Name: Medford17
Location: Manchester
Course: History
Predicted Grades: BBB (Hoping to raise to at least AAB)
Also Applying At: Glasgow, Liverpool
Currently Studying: Maths, Computer Science, History

Not seen too much online regarding history at Newcastle but everything about the uni personally feels right for me. Even if I get my predicted grades rasied I'm still worried about the acceptance criteria since from what I've researched Newcastle base a decision fully off the whole application.

Hi there,

It's great to see you're so sure about applying to Newcastle university!

I wouldnt worry so much about getting accepted or not, you never know till you try!

If you're worried about grades, it may be worth applying to a university with a slightly lower grade boundary for entry but if your heart is set on Newcastle, go for it and good luck!

Oops, just realised I don’t think I’ve listed that one yet haha. I’m looking at Bath Spa as my backup which seems a lot more within my current set range. Glasgow and Liverpool are more of alternatives that I’ve liked but not entirely as much as Newcastle.

And thanks a lot!

Hi! i am applying for Newcastle also but I am applying for Chemistry. Have you considered partaking in Newcastle University's Partners Programme? It cannot get sent off until your UCAS form is sent off however doing the programme you can get a reduced offer. may put the stress off a little bit. A few of my friends have done it last year and they said it is great and really helpful. Hope this helps!
- Good Luck!
