Once for economics, and once for economics with placement. Apparently they consider applications separately for the two.

Hi!

I applied to Bath to study Psychology and have just recently received an offer

The qualifications I applied with were:
8A*s 2As at GCSE
Currently doing my Alevels in Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and English Lit.

I know Bath has a reputation for being a really sporty uni! I’m not particularly sporty myself and I was just wondering whether you thought this would potentially make it harder to socialise/meet new people/ generally fit in at Bath?

Good luck to everyone with their exams and applications!)

Thank you!
GCSEs: 6A*5A
A Level Grades (already achieved): ABB in Politics, RS and Geography
Course: Politics and International Relations

Offer received and firmly accepted in August 2018 for start in Autumn 2019

Hey,

Congratulations on the offer!

I had the exact same worry when I was applying to Bath but I can honestly say that not playing sport has not restricted me socially at all! You would be surprised how many other people have this concern because typically Bath does come across as a very sporty uni, but you will find all sorts of students here.

There are so many opportunities to meet people without getting involved in a sports team e.g. flat mates, course mates. There are also loads of non-sporty societies at Bath that can be just as social. However, team sports do seem like a good laugh and uni is definitely such a good time to try things out - I remember seeing final years at taster sessions so it is never too late if you just feel like settling in for a bit in first year. I did really random taster sessions in Fresher's Week like kickboxing, Canoe club, volleyball, Yoga etc. and it was all good fun.

I hope this helps and best of luck with your A-Levels!

3rd Year Management Student

Hey!

No they don't, but it is possible that students who have been away from study for a while may be asked to interview to gain a better understanding of them as a student.

I hope this helps, if you have any more questions just quote me
