Certainly not the first time I have heard of a university being on the tables for a subject it doesn't offer. Maybe all the engineering courses start off general in the first year or two and offer specialism after that? Have you looked into the course structure(s)?

I would hazard that their Engineering Mathematics or Engineering Design courses come under General Engineering, this would also explain why Imperial is on the list.

edit: looking at the unistats results for Engineering Design at Bristol, that's exactly what's happening

Nothing about general engineering, but there's a lot of specific ones here http://www.bristol.ac.uk/study/under...ar=2019&page=1

Yep, they are topping that league largely due to grad prospects. And according to Unistats it's from a survey of just 15 students. Ditto for Student Satisfaction...

And it looks like Unistats is classing Engineering Maths under Maths not Engineering.

The general engineering course at University of Bristol is called "Engineering Design". Hope that helps.
