I just saw that the UCAS portal states that changes can be made within a 14 day period from receiving the welcome email... Does this mean a medicine choice at one uni can be swapped for another medicine choice for a different uni? Or does this only apply as long as it is before October 15th? .. really confusing
Individual unis have different policies on this please check their FAQs or with admissions

I think it is quite useful. It's better than the preparing for the BMAT book, which was too short

Technically you CAN within 7 days of submitting your application. However seeing that the deadline for med has passed, I would advise you contact the uni you want to change TO first and see if they would be willing to consider your application after the deadline. If you're referring to your fifth non-med option then it shouldn't be a problem as the deadline for those is jan 15th. You still have 7 days only to change through track after submitting your application and an additional 7 days after that by calling UCAS first.

If you really want to change your choice its best to contact the uni you want to switch to- after all, it's to no one's advantage for you to go to uni you don't want.

Good luck!

Yeah it is best to call individual unis. It happened to a friend of mine last year and the only uni that was accepting late applications was Sheffield.

Newcastle just accepted my PARTNERS application - very grateful for the reduced UKCAT threshold as I’m currently on 2660. Hope I meet the PARTNERS threshold which is usually lower :-)
