PE filming evidence

Can anyone give us advice on filming evidence for PE Alevel. My son has told me he needs to film 15 hours of matches of him playing in his local football team. Is that correct.... If so it seems very onerous... can you tell us how best to approach this task. I can't find it on AQA SPECIFICATION website details. What's it for?? Evidence for assessment??
