Dissertation HELP!

I am in my third year of study, and I am about to begin my dissertation at Warwick. However, I am finding it very difficult to select a topic. My current sociological interests are around educational inequalities, and I am thinking of possibly doing it in the area of higher education, as it may be easier and practical for me when I come to conduct research. I want to look at the tuition fee rise, as I find it relevant in today’s educational climate, but I am finding it difficult to link that with class differences. I’ve read around literature, and there has been such research, like ‘Has the increase in tuition fee deterred students from lower income backgrounds from entering higher education etc. The dissertation has to add to current literature material, and be unique, but I am unsure how else to study the tuition fee rise and examining class differences in relation to this.
