LSE Economics and Economic History Applicants for 2019 entry

Didn't find a thread so here it is

My predictions are 44/45 with 776 (Econ, Physics, Maths). I've also sent them my american SAT scores (1570) if they even care about that (im international).

In my PS I talked about development economics and I also had some stuff about sociology and its importance in econ

I'm also thinking of applying but not too sure if I'd get an offer. I think their percentage of applicants receiving offers is 15% so a bit wary.
I got 3A*'s 6A's and 2B's in GCSE and a A*A*A* prediction for Maths Econ and Geography. do you reckon I can get an offer, assuming a good ps?
also would you say you'd have to explicitly mention economic history in the ps?

I’ve applied now!
1A* 7As 2Bs
A level: AAAa maths, economics, politics and AS further maths

Do you mind me asking what other unis you applied to and what course for?
Also how did you make your personal statement reflective on economical history?
Best of luck for your application, and keep us posted on your journey! X
Ok so this thread has kinda stressed me out loool cause i like didn't tailor my personal statement to economic history at all. I was like I mentioned the financial crisis should aight. RIP

I applied for straight econ at Warwick, Durham, Leeds and Manchester.
Predicted grades 3A*s (maths, econ and geography)
GCSEs 7A*s 3As
Hi everyone!
I'm actually applying for Economic History with Economics at LSE, but since that cohort is pretty small I thought I'd intrude on this thread instead.
GCSEs: 9A*s and a 9
A Level: Maths History and Economics, predicted 3A*s
Also undertaking an EPQ on the Dutch East India Company (wrote about this a lot in my PS so hopefully this demonstrates my niche interest in Economic History alright, or else I'm screwed).
Applied to Oxford for straight History, History & Economics as Leeds and Edinburgh, Economic & Social History / Economics at Glasgow.
The thing that really stresses me out is the low acceptance rate - the course I've applied to at Oxford has a 1 in 4 success rate but at LSE the course is 1 in 6, which doesn't fill me with much confidence.
Anyway its good to know that there are other Economic Historians out there somewhere
I have applied as international student. GCSE - 4 A*, 4 A and 2 B.
A-level, Math, Further Math, English and History. 2 A* and 2A predicteds.

Same - they don’t seem like they’ve given out any offers or rejections for our course

Congrats, what is the offer condition? AAB?
I am doing Maths, F Maths, English Lit, History and Turkish (not native language) with predictions A*AAA*A* accordingly. Wanted to take economics as well, instead of English, but F Maths and economics were not possible together in my school as classes start at the same timing.

Offer would be a big surprise as my PS is not purely tailored for this course.
