I am writing m first A Level essay for Philosophy. The question is:"'Aristotle's understanding of reality is more plausible than that of Plato.' Discuss" I have no idea how to write my introduction.

I had a similar question as homework for RS
In my school we use the DISK structure for an introduction
D - Define the key terms. In this case you would briefly mention what Aristotle and Plato’s understanding of reality is
I - Implication. So what does it mean if the statement is correct
S - Scholars. So who agrees/disagrees with Plato or Aristotle and why
C - Mini conclusion. Overall what is the answer to the question. Is the statement correct
I use this in every essay and I did very well. I got an A in AS RS.
However at the beginning of year 12 I did have trouble with it as using he structure tended to make my introduction really long. I’ve managed to shorten them extremely.
Hope this helps
