Has King's College London got a bad reputation?

I have heard that its a prestigious and famous college but its not very high in the rankings and I've heard that it has a lot of negatives. Anyone know why?

it is a big uni
people i have spoken to said it is easy to get lost in the crowd
but it is still my first choice for medicine despite the rankings
it is a prestigious and famous uni still :smile:

Good phil dept, I know that much.
I don't know much regarding reputation but it looks like a pretty decent uni to me, highish entry requirements (i've seen around AAA) and teaching seems good
