Day 3 - 16th of OctoberWe woke up a bit earlier today, ready to explore further a field! I don’t think I’d ever get bored to waking up to this... (no, not
@shadowdweller but I don’t get bored of that either
)
Again breakfast was amazing, when we didn’t think you could add any other types of breakfast food, they still brought out different foods today.
Taking the bus into the centre of Dubrovnik (the Old Town) was an experience to say the least... I can no longer complain about how busy our buses are back at home when there were so many people crammed into one bus today
Luckily it was a fairly quick 15 minute journey and there we found ourselves looked down on by the great walls of the city.

After an hour or so, we headed back down to the Old Town. The Old Town was full of beautiful architecture as well as brilliant shops - I think Captain Candy (a sweet shop) had to be one of our favourites, and we spotted three of them whilst walking around. (Most of the photos of the Old Town are on my SLR camera so I’ll edit them in when we’re back home)
We spotted more cats too, bringing the total to 9!
The harbour area in Dubrovnik Old Town was beautiful, with a mixture of boats, hill side views, and clear water (with the added bonus of seeing the fish):
We faced the dreaded bus again, and headed back to the hotel. Late afternoon was spend sunbathing with a beer, and playing games.
We watched as the sunset, our hotel in the perfect position to look to the west:
After dinner, we headed to the rooftop bar of the hotel for cocktails. Again, probably the most best place with the most amazing views that I’ve ever had a cocktail at...
