Second year transfer when is it possible

quick question if i wanted to transfer into second year to a different university that Im currently studying at when would i have to apply via ucas, at the start of first year so same time as a level ucas application where the deadline is January or some other time frame.

You should contact the other uni directly first, and then they may ask you to apply via UCAS. As only a very small proportion of people do this, the January deadline doesn't apply.
